The Russian Manicure

Russian manicure is a sophisticated technique that goes beyond the conventional gel manicure, offering meticulous care and attention to detail that ensures your nails not only look stunning but also remain healthy and can grow should you desire.

This caring and complex manicure treatment involves several detailed and high-skilled steps; therefore, it takes much longer than your normal “BIAB” manicure.

You may ask why you should spend this extra time on your manicure treatment?

Thanks to the Russian manicure technique I can take your type of your skin and nail in to consideration so every treatment is tailored especially to you. It also allows me to apply gel product as close as possible to the cuticle are (your Proximal fold) so it extends its life and out grow show much later than with ordinary manicure. The detailed care eliminates cases of gel lifting around that area and again enhance longevity of your gel manicure.

Full consultation and assessment of your nails and treatment, thorough Russian manicure prep of cuticle area and nail plate preparation, file and shape the natural nail, prime if need it , application of suitable base coat followed by clear or coloured builder gel overlay to your natural nails, finished with high gloss top coat. This service includes hand massage , cuticle oil and/ or hand cream.

Builder Gel Structure Manicure with choice of colour £45

Full consultation and assessment of your nails and treatment, thorough Russian manicure prep of cuticle area and nail plate preparation, file and shape the natural nail, prime if need it, application of suitable base coat followed by clear builder gel overlay to your natural nails, application of 2 coat of coloured gel of your choice. Finished with high gloss top coat. This service includes hand massage, cuticle oil and /or hand cream.

Gel Removal (Other Salon/Product Work) £25

I am more than happy to remove other salon/brand gel work .
Up to 60mins, depending on the previous product on your nails.

From the moment you step into Marie's home you will feel welcomed and looked after. I have tried all kinds of nail salons, home & mobile and I can honestly say since going to Marie for a couple of years now my nails have been in the best condition i've ever seen! I never knew my natural nails could get this long and all down to the products and preparation and time spent on perfecting each manicure. I always enjoy a relax and time with Marie she really is a magician with nails you wont be disappointed! 💅😍

Marie has been looking after my nails for a couple of years now and I will not go anywhere else. She is very thorough, gives a full manicure first before the gel, and it is a treatment experience. My nails are now strong and I can do all the tough jobs I like doing such as gardening and DIY without them getting damaged. For 30years I have tried all the various infills etc and now I've found the perfect solution with the best person doing it. I highly recommend Marie, it's time well spent.

Pre & aftercare for clients

To achieve the best possible results from your beauty treatments, following pre and aftercare advice is essential. Pre-treatment guidance helps to reduce sensitivity, prepare your skin, and ensure you’re ready for your appointment. To help maintain the results for longer, please follow the aftercare guidelines. These steps are designed to protect the health and integrity of the treated area – and skipping them can lead to irritation, infection, or less effective results. By doing a little care before and after your treatment really does make the difference.

Allergies & Patch Test?

If you would like our spray tan service , patch tests must be carried out at least 48 hours before treatment to ensure your safety.

Cancellations

If you’re unable to attend your appointment or would like to rearrange, please give at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid being charged.

If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the total fee.

Any cancellations within 24hrs will be charged 100% of the treatment cost.

This is in place to protect my income, thank you for your understanding.

Terms & Conditions

Terms of Service PLEASE NOTE: If you require me to remove other salon/brand gel work, you need to add this to any other manicure treatment booking: Gel Removal (Other Salon/Product Work). Failure to do so will incur 100% charge and your manicure appointment may need to be rescheduled. Parental Consent I do not work on anyone under the age of 16. If you are under 18 I will require a parental signature from a parent before the treatment can begin. Consultation form The consultation form must be completed before the appointment can go ahead. Social Media I may take photos or video footage of your hands, nails and tanned skin before, during and after your treatment. You will remain anonymous and all audio will be removed from the video footage. If you are not happy to be photographed or filmed please make me aware at the appointment. No Shoes Policy Please take your shoes off when entering my home. Shoe covers will be available, or you are welcome to bring your own slippers if you prefer. Further charges may apply, depending on distance and parking for example.

TINT YOUR SKIN

To ensure you get the best, longest-lasting results from your spray tan, please follow the guidelines below.

Important: A patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to your treatment.
A brief consultation will also take place to check for any allergies or skin sensitivities and your desired look.

Before your appointment:

Shower beforehand and arrive with no makeup, deodorant, moisturiser, or perfume on your skin.
Complete hair removal at least 48 hours before your tan.
Exfoliate your skin at least 48 hours in advance to remove dead skin cells.
Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment for after the treatment.
Remove all jewellery and contact lenses before the tan.
I will provide hair protectors, disposable thongs, and sticky feet to ensure your comfort during the session.
Please note: You can wear your own underwear, we recommend black, however the skin covered with your underwear will remain untanned. So please bear in mind the size and style of your own underwear.

After your tan:

Avoid swimming, the gym, saunas, hot tubs, and washing up for a 24 hours after your tan.
Guided times for showering after the tan will be discussed at your appointment.
For all other shades other X express, wait until the next day to shower.
When showering, gently pat your skin dry – do not rub.
Moisturise daily to maintain an even, glowing tan for as long as possible.

NURTURE YOUR NAILS

To keep your gel nails looking their best and lasting as long as possible, please follow these simple aftercare steps:

In the first 24 hours after application:

Avoid excessive heat – steer clear of saunas, sunbeds, or hot baths.
Don’t soak your hands for long periods, such as in the bath or swimming pool.

Between Appointments:

Apply hand cream and cuticle oil regularly to keep your nails hydrated and healthy.
Treat your nails gently to extend the life of your gel polish and keep them looking fresh.
Wear gloves when washing up and cleaning to protect your nails from water and harsh products.
Avoid using your nails as tools to prevent lifting or breakage.

These include, Aldingbourne, Barnham, Westergate, Arundel, Pagham, Slindon, Oving Village, Sidlesham, Lavant, Tangmere, Boxgrove, Bognor Regis, Fishbourne and many more. Please advise me on parking. If there are any parking fees, these will be added to the cost. Further charges may apply, depending on distance and parking for example.
